About Regent Academy

Senior High School and a second shot at WASSCE — under one roof.

Regent Academy runs Senior High School (SHS 1–3) and WASSCE remedial programmes — May/June and Nov/Dec re-sits — on the Regent University campus in Accra, helping every student qualify for the future they want.

Our Mission

To prepare students for excellence — from Senior High School through WASSCE — so every Ghanaian learner masters the syllabus and accesses the higher education they deserve.

Our Vision

To be one of Ghana's most trusted academies for SHS education and WASSCE preparation — known for excellent teaching, strong discipline, and putting student outcomes first.

Our Promise

Complete the full programme, attend Saturday mocks, and engage with your tutors — we will help you improve your aggregate by at least 6 points. That's our guarantee.

Our Story

From a vision at Regent University to one of Ghana's leading remedial centres

Regent Academy was founded under the umbrella of Regent University Ghana to give SHS leavers a structured second chance at WASSCE — and to prepare strong candidates for university admission. Many of our founders were themselves WAEC examiners tired of watching bright students miss out because of one or two papers gone wrong.

Today, thousands of alumni have passed through the Academy. They're now doctors, engineers, accountants, teachers, and entrepreneurs. Many of them said the same thing after WASSCE: "I didn't fail. I just needed the right teaching."
